There are a number of useful emotional intelligence assessment tools on the market today. You could literally spend upwards of $400 per assessment tool which is a comprehensive process that helps one learn about their own propensities and in determining strategies for self-development. One inexpensive option to consider is in using the Emotional Intelligence Style Profile developed by Dr Jon Warner and available from HRD Press.
This 32 item, self scoring assessment assists one in realizing their natural tendency to be Reflective, Conceptual, Organized, or Empathetic. This tool is a useful device in learning how to apply the behaviors necessary to fully use all four emotional styles in the appropriate setting. HRD Press also offers an online version of the tool that delivers a comprehensive report about one’s style and the pro’s and con’s of the same in developing successful strategies. The tool is currently available from HRD Press for $44.75 for a package of five.
