Training and Development Wiki By US OPM Launches! - Use Tutorial Scheduled for 11/4 - See Details below:

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management sent the following announcement on October 25th :


The Training and Executive Development (TED) group of OPM's Executive Resources and Employee Development Center is very excited to announce the release of the new OPM Federal Training and Development Wiki!!

Please join us on Thursday, November 4th from 1:30pm to 2:30pm for a training webinar where we will provide detailed instruction on how to: become a wiki user, post content, edit documents, create wiki pages, and perform various other tasks. Click here to join the Webinar:

Thanks to all of you who contributed to developing the content for our initial pages. Our current pages are:You can access the wiki on OPM’s website at http://www.opm.gov/wiki/training/. Only Federal Government employees may post content, tools, resources and best practices directly onto the wiki; however, anyone can subscribe and receive regular RSS feeds to easily stay informed about the latest training topics. 


This wiki was developed under the creative and technical direction of Cheryl Ndunguru and Karen Simpson of TED. Please join me in thanking them for creating a tool that will help practitioners learn, share relevant information and collaborate. They collected information and received feedback from many of you so this was a real team effort. Thank you!!

In the coming weeks we will add pages on Executive Development, Individual Development Plans, and Training Evaluation. We encourage all of you to provide comments and post content thus making the wiki a “living” and ever-evolving resource.  Please feel free to provide feedback on the wiki and the attached instructional guide to Cheryl Ndunguru (Cheryl.Ndunguru@opm.gov) or Karen Simpson (Karen.Simpson@opm.gov).
