What Is A Process? - Insights into basic process improvement.

A process is a series of steps and actions to achieve a goal or outcome. Our lives are filled with processes in both our personal and work environments.

Some examples of processes:
writing a checklist; washing dishes; planting a garden; delivering newspapers; drawing a diagram; writing a letter; balancing a checkbook; teaching a workshop; . . . and there are literally unlimited more we use everyday.  You can tell from these examples that the level of importance of processes varies.  Process and its improvement is  an important part of team building.
