Looking for passive ways of increasing productivity and reducing
stress? Think color! There is a variety of research that has some indication and support in the effects that color can play on human response. Some claims suggest an impact in helping decrease worker absenteeism and in improving quality of work and productivity. Other research notes possible links to colors and the human body physiological responses. For example, blue and green are thought to help promote relaxation, ease stress; while red is often associated with increases in the body circulatory system. Yellow has been connected to more human tension. White and off white has been linked to decreases in worker productivity.
