From the moment we are born, we learn to imprint on the positive and the negative. When we repeat too much of the negative, we diminish and even destroy our natural ability to create, dream and make progress with our lives. Learning to use positive self talk is a strategy that can help us become more confident and able to take risks that help us to achieve even greater success with our current situation and natural life abilities.
Positive Self Talk:
You are great! You have outstanding confidence. You’re very knowledgeable and resourceful.
Negative Self Talk:
I can’t do it! It’s too late for me to try it! My life is almost over. They always pick on me.
