Organizational Communication Principles

Some Basics:

The organization strategic plan, mission statement, goals and any written steps needed to be accomplished to provide successful outcomes should be copied and briefed to all members.

A comprehensive human resources rules book should be given to all members.

Operation manuals containing the basic functions of the tasks that allow an organization to achieve and operate should be accessible and utilized by all members.

Individual job descriptions and the organization command structure and its departments should be given to each member.

Periodic and regular meetings are held to inform and provide feedback from all members on a recurring basis.  This includes one-on-one supervisor to employee meetings.

Annual and recurring performance reviews that are linked with the organization goals should be accomplished for all members. (Reference Managementhelp.org)
