Checklists
Author Atul Gawande writes about the complexity of today’s modern world and how checklists can add reassurance to getting things done right and safely and with more successful outcomes. While he primarily uses medicine and the role of the physician to make major illustrations for his thesis, the book’s idea of using checklists applies to all sorts of roles and tasks associated with any occupation or field. “Failure, he argues, results not so much from ignorance as from ineptitude”.
