Wisconsin Department of Employment Relations 2001 New Supervisor Training Needs Analysis Survey


Over 92% of the supervisors responding indicated the new supervisors training was “worth the investment of time and money”.  Over 45% thought at least some of the training could be delivered via e-learning format. 

Motivating employees topics was deemed to be the most important to include in the training by respondents.   “Communications and conflict management”, “Steps to becoming a good supervisor”, and “Team-building” were ranked in the top four most important categories.  Read more
