Giving Presentations - 3 Easy Points!

Three easy points to remember to help make a great presentation!
First, tell them what you're going to tell them,  second, tell them, and  third, tell them what you told them.   You will have an introduction, body of the presentation and a conclusion, or summary of your talk.  If you use Powerpoint slides, try to keep the number of slides to a minimum and around 20 or less per hour.   Keep the fonts to 22 point or higher and do not use more than three colors on each slide.

Speech is power: speech is to persuade, to convert, to compel.
It is to bring another out of his bad sense into your good sense.
--Ralph Waldo Emerson in Social Aims

Much of the training today is not done face to face. Instead it is done by computer conferencing. I believe that each workshop should have a technician to handle the technical details of the presentation. That way, the presenter can concentrate on the presentation and the audience.
