Oct 15th - Newly Forming Work - Life Collaborators Meeting - OPEN Invite!

Message from newly forming Work -   Life Collaborators -

Get on the ground floor of this newly forming group by attending this first session.  There are no dues, the structure will be informal, and the purpose will be to meet each other, share best practices and resources, and engage in any other useful collaboration that may develop.  The meeting place will rotate among participants, with any gaps being filled by AWLP/WorldatWork.

WHEN:  Friday, October 15, 12:00pm to 2:00pm

WHERE: This first meeting will be hosted by Kristen Piersol at KPMG, 2001 M Street, NW 20036.
Present your ID in the lobby and ask for Kristen, who will escort you to the 6th floor conference center.
KPMG will provide drinks and dessert; please bring your own brown bag lunch.

WHAT:  Trend Lines and Tea Leaves
It is no accident that this conclave is scheduled during October, which you all recognize as National Work and Family Month.  We’ll briefly provide some historical context for this national education campaign that highlights the business, personal, family and community value of work-life intervention.  Come prepared to engage in a lively, interactive assessment of how far we’ve come in the seven intervening years, and what future developments you see taking shape in your scan of the tea leaves.

NEXT STEPS:
1)      RSVP to kpiersol@kpmg.com by October 11th.
2)      Share this invitation with anyone of your acquaintance you think can or should attend.  Any omission on our contact list is purely accidental, so help us spread the word.
3)       If you have questions, please contact Carrie Clark at WorldatWork's DC office:  480 315-5517
4)      Pack or buy your lunch on 10/15 and head over to KPMG’s office before high noon.  We’ll be waiting for you!

Sincerely,

Your Washington Metropolitan Work-Life Network Steering Committee
(Kathie Kadilak, Kristen Piersol, Lisa Nedderman, Jeanne Matotek, Donna Phillips, Carrie Clark, Cara Welch, Kathie Lingle)
