Ice Breakers And Training Tools By USDA SNAP-ED Program


The U.S. Department of Agriculture SNAP-Ed Connection provides tools for Professional Development for those promoting and explaining the SNAP-Ed programs.   Posted at this link are a variety of useful tools for adult training instructors.

Besides ice breakers, resources for team building activities, conducting demonstrations, and adult learning tips are provided.

SNAP is the acronym for the "Supplemental Nutrition Assistance  Program".

The SNAP-Ed Connection is a dynamic online resource center for State and local SNAP-Ed Providers. It provides information on valuable training and continuing education resources for educators and facilitates access to educational materials developed specifically for SNAP participants and eligibles. Educators nationwide can use this site to identify curricula, lesson plans, research, participant materials and professional development tools.
