He posits that great places to work develop their organizational relationships by treating the union like a partner. And second, these great places to work are not adverse to going beyond their contracts to build trust. Erb writes that in spite of union contracts, the key focus is not inhibited and that relates to building trust through “communication, collaboration, and appreciation”.
