Federal Employee Education & Assistance Fund

Record-breaking Emergency Aid
FEEA's emergency assistance program provides no-interest loans of up to $1,000 to federal employees who are having trouble meeting basic living expenses. Since the economic downturn began, FEEA has been steadily setting new records for assistance each year. In 2008, emergency loans more than doubled, helping 536 federal families with over $404,000.  2010 saw the total climb to 794 families and over $505,000 in aid.  Checkout the FEEA and consider partnering with their programs.

Promoting employee groups helps provide a teamwork mentality and assists in organizational development.  Here is a classic example of partnership utilizing programs to benefit organizational development.   “Thanks to more than $700,000 donated to FEEA by NTEU as a result of unused administrative funds from a special rates case, FEEA was able to endow a scholarship fund, which will provide at least seven scholarships of $5,000 each as part of FEEA's annual scholarship program.”  NTEU is the National Treasury EmployeesUnion.
