1. Know your top three priorities each day – work on them FIRST.
2. Make appointments with yourself, set aside time to work on a task or assignment, block your time out on your calendar.
3. Clear your life of clutter – (it is distracting/emotional draining) start with your workspace, home rooms, get rid of what you don’t need.
4. Let the ball drop – make a conscious decision of what you will or will not commit too or get done – do it carefully, but sometimes you just need to let a ball drop.
5. Keep a master list of things you have to do – brainstorm all the facets of a task, add or revise as necessary – review every day - keep an accomplishment file.
