The U.S. Office of Personnel Management has created an online toolkit for federal human resource professionals to manage their careers. The site contains career maps, critical development activities and lists of training opportunities for the various HR specialities. Some of the training is free and provided in the District of Columbia.
The HR University notes its mission is to cultivate a culture of continuous learning and excellence for Federal HR professionals by providing career guidance, training and resources to achieve a consistently high level of technical, consulting, business and professional competency.
