How To Answer The Weakness Question?

Remember no one is perfect.  All interviewers know that.  The probe is more to see how a person handles his or her self-development.  How does one prepare for assignments and handle self-improvement?

So the whole point of the weakness question is to find out how you are analyzing your weaknesses and what you do to improve.

Basically the key to answering this type of interview question is in walking the interviewer through how you improved a skill deficit that is needed for the target job.  And maybe what you intend to do to improve it even further.  This is the reassurance a prospective employer needs to have confidence in your own self-leadership and ability to set improvement goals.
